Last week I attended a gorgeous wedding at Villa A Last week I attended a gorgeous wedding at Villa Angelina along the Sorrento Coast. And if you ask me the best part about a wedding in Italy? The FOOD. It’s endless.

This wedding was held at the beautiful @villaangelinaofficial - which viewpoints overlooking the coastline and even Capri! It was an ideal and romantic setting dancing and eating while the sun set.

One of my favorite details was the incredible New Orleans jazz band they had playing throughout the night - @drjazzdirtybucks. I was obsessed and these guys were incredible!! Honestly I spent the night feeling like I was in La Dolce Vita and the other half transported to the French Quarter. A unique mix that worked impeccably. 🎶

I can’t believe it officially marks 3 years since I can’t believe it officially marks 3 years since I landed in Italy 🥹

This journey wasn’t easy at the start. I can’t even describe the stress and anxiety after the initial excitement of arriving. If you’ve seen my other posts you’ll know that I arrived on a student visa - meaning I more or less had one year of staying. But, with some grit and a bit of luck, I found a job to sponsor me.

Oh, and fast-forward a couple more years and I’m happily married and truly living my best life! I have to pinch myself that all of this is real. I think it just goes to show, you need to follow your heart. I’m sure glad I did.

Can’t wait to see what my next 3 years have in store for me here. It’s never short of an adventure.
