It got me thinking about some Italians I know having babies. While they are not having a baby shower, they happily send out a link to an Amazon registry. This link goes out to family, friends, and even colleagues! I operate more under the idea that if we are close enough that you want to give me a gift, we’ll be talking so you know what I want/need and I don’t need to send you a link.

I’m sure this post will ruffle feathers because I tend to have strong opinions on the (surplus) of parties and gifts people except. I could post MANY more videos about this.

Ok…rant over. For now 😜

During a recent weekend at Lake Orta we realized h During a recent weekend at Lake Orta we realized how close we were to the @alessi_official factory store. You never know what you’ll get with factory outlets so I came in with low expectations.

Wow - it was incredible! They have a huge collection and offering on-site. You can either buy items “new” and full price, some on discount, and some at a “second tier” pricing meaning there may be very small flaws.

The deals were incredible and knowing that we will be wrapping up our Milan apartment renovation (hopefully sooner than later) we will absolutely be going back to try and buy more.

📌Save this post if you plan to check it out. It’s only 90 minutes from Milan!
