The Best Bloody Mary in Milwaukee, WI

The Best Bloody Mary in Milwaukee, WI

A Bloody Mary in Milwaukee is unbeatable…and trust me, I’ve had many Bloodies. Almost every restaurant or bar in the city will offer a Bloody Mary on the menu. The best surprise is that your Bloody Mary typically arrives with a beer chaser on the side – it’s a Wisconsin tradition! In addition to the beer chaser, the garnishes have become prize-worthy. Read on to discover where to find the best Bloody Mary in Milwaukee!

Sobelmans – Best Bloody Mary for Toppings

For many years, locals consider Sobelmans to have the best Bloody Mary’s in Milwaukee. Usually, a standard Bloody Mary is served with a stem of celery or perhaps a small sausage. Milwaukee ups the game.

Head to Sobelmans for an absolutely absurd (read: awesome) Bloody Mary experience. To put it into perspective, you can order a Bloody Mary with an entire rotisserie chicken arriving on top of it. Bottoms up!

The Wicked Hop – Best Bloody Mary for Taste

The Wicked Hop won Milwaukee’s Best Drink with their Bloody Mary in 2016, 2017, and 2018. In fact, my best recommendation is to fill up on some yummy food at the Milwaukee Public Market located across the street and then walk to the Wicked Hop to enjoy a big Bloody. In the summer, try to grab a spot on the patio right on the best streets for people-watching in the Third Ward neighborhood.

Blue’s Egg – Best Bloody Mary with Best Breakfast

Blue’s Egg is the go-to spot for Milwaukee locals to grab a delicious, hearty breakfast. When in Milwaukee, I highly recommend to order a Bloody Mary with breakfast or brunch (we’re a drinking city, after all). At Blue’s Egg, the large bacon slices and the mini High Life bottle pair well with whatever meal you choose on the menu. Keep in mind, Blue’s Egg gets packed on the weekend, so get there early or make a reservation to avoid a long wait.

Cafe Benelux – Best Bloody Mary Variety

Cafe Benelux is a very popular brunch spot in Milwaukee. And they definitely know how to get the brunch party started. Here, you can choose from 6 (yes, SIX) different Bloody Mary choices on the menu. In fact, they even have a gluten-free one made with prairie vodka, so no excuses!
